Fees: I charge $75 for a fifty-minute session and payment by cash or check is due at the time of the appointment. I reserve a portion of my time for those in need of a reduced fee due to financial hardship. If this is your situation, we can discuss it over our initial telephone conversation. I also offer a complimentary first session. I am unable to contract with insurance companies at this time. First Session: The entrance to our building opens to a waiting room with chairs and magazines. Behind the half-wall you’ll find tea, water and a restroom. Please make yourself comfortable. I will meet you in the waiting room at our appointment time. My first sessions are relaxed and fairly informal. The focus of this session is for us to get to know each other and determine if we are a good fit. I will open the session by asking a few general questions to help me understand why you are interested in therapy and to get a sense of what you would like to accomplish during out time together.
